Noxious Weed Board
The Board assists in developing criteria for noxious weeds on land within the County. The Board cooperates with citizens, corporations, and federal and state governments in a noxious weed abatement program.

Planning Board
The Planning Board advises the County Commission on all land use matters and develops and administers Subdivision and Floodplain regulations.

Regional Airport Authority Board
The Regional Airport Authority Board is the governing body and policy-setting board for the operation and management of the Great Falls International Airport. They are responsible for employing the Airport Director, who hires staff and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Airport.

Rural Fire Council
The Rural Fire Council consists of the 16 volunteer fire departments and provides information and advice to the County and City Commissioners on matters relating to fire and life safety services within Cascade County.

Regional Youth Services Center Board
The Board's purpose is to support efforts to guarantee that youth-in-need are provided with intervention, crisis shelter care, and safe secure detention. The Board also makes recommendations to the Cascade County Commissioners on issues relating to program and personnel policy, budgeting, staffing, and other matters relating to the operation of the Cascade County Regional Youth Services Center.

Senior Advisory Council
The purpose of the Senior Advisory Council is to advise Cascade County and Area VIII Aging on all matters related to the development and administration of the Area Agency Plan on Aging (“Plan”), including review of the Plan before and after conducting public hearings on the Plan, and, to review and comment on all community policies, programs, and actions which affect older individuals.

Tax Appeal Board
The primary purpose of the County Tax Appeal Board is to review the market value assigned by the Department of Revenue and to determine if the taxed property is correctly appraised at 100% market value.

Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBOA)
Pursuant to 76-2-223, MCA, Zoning Boards of Adjustment have the exclusive power and authority to independently hear and decide zoning appeals and applications for zoning variances and special exceptions.
