Screening Program

Cascade City-County Health Department (CCHD) offers low or no-cost cancer screening tests for those that qualify. Regular cancer testing can save your life. Screening Guidelines

  • Breast cancer screenings are recommended to qualifying women ages 40 to 64.
  • Cervical cancer screenings are recommended to women ages 21 and over.
  • Colorectal cancer screenings are recommended to qualifying men and women ages 45 to 64, or those younger with a higher risk of colorectal cancer.

Screenings, Diagnostic Services & Referrals

For screenings not provided by CCHD, we can refer you to a provider and may be able to assist with payment!

  • Clinical breast exams
  • Colonoscopies
  • Fecal occult blood tests
  • Mammograms
  • Pap tests
  • Pelvic exams
  • Prostate-specific antigen
  • Follow-up diagnostic testing for abnormal test results
